I might have missed the post if it has.. but lets discuss it again if it has ![]()
*It really bothered me that her parents were PUSHING adoption with her. She needed to come to that choice on her own and it just seemed like they made it harder for her.
*The baby daddy wasnt as bad as a lot of the other baby's daddys were. You cant ever really and truely judge them because you dont know what happened before the taping or anything. and you really only hear from HER family never really his. But some of the guys are complete TOOLS. He didnt seem to bad, he seemed semi-unsupportive, hurt, and trying to block it out.
*I hated how the friends were trying to get her to keep the baby.. they are only 16 too! I would have been like "Hi, are you going to stay over and help me with him because you sure are sticking your 2 cents in where they are not really needed" but thats just how I feel about it.
How did you feel about the episode?
Re: 16&pg... has it been discussed yet?
get back to me on what you think about it.
I totally agree about the parents pushing the adoption. I know she's young and got herself into a situation that was less than ideal, but to me it seemed weird that they had adopted her and then wanted her to put her baby up for adoption. I did feel bad for her when she was talking about the baby being the only blood relation she has and now she has to give him away. I feel like one day she's going to wake up and really resent them for pushing her into that decision. She just didn't seem sure of her decision. She basically said she did it because they told her to.
As for the dad, again it was her parents making that situation bad. It seemed like they were basically saying you don't even get a chance to try to raise this child b/c it's going to be too hard. He didn't really seem happy with the adoption either. Wouldn't he have had to sign over his rights or something? I thought that was weird - if he didn't want to do it then why did he?
