I have been doing a lot of name dreaming lately, and funny, they are all girl names.
What do you all think of
Louisa?
I kinda like Louisa Blythe together.
And I like the idea of Lulu for a nickname. And that Louisa May Alcott is one of my favorite childhood authors.
Re: Day dreaming about names
Makes me think of Anne of Green Gables....but most things do.
Is the 's' soft? (I've never heard the name spoken)

It could go either way, with an s or a z sound. When I say it without thinking about it, it has a z sound.
I would love to do a nod to AOGG because Lucy (Maud Montgomery) is one of my fav names, but I aready have a Luke, and Lucy is the feminine of Luke. I think that is why I am so hung up on the name Blythe, it is ingrained into my childhood soul from the books.
I love how books do that to us...
Kathleen Kelly: When you read a book as a child, it becomes a part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your whole life does.

1. Angel, I love you for your Anne of Green Gables reference. It is my second fave story of all time and why Lucy's middle name is Anne with an "E."
2. Alicia, I think you could get away with a Luke and a Lucy. But I really like Louisa Blythe too.
And, how did I not know that the AOGG author was a Lucy?! My Lucy is named after Lucy Honeychurch from A Room With A View, my first fave story of all time.
