Is anyone else still exhausted from the time change?

I just can't seem to get caught back up on sleep. I know I've been exhausted from being pg, but this week has been even worse. Maybe it's because I was on call over the weekend and got a total of 3-4 hours of sleep Saturday night. Or maybe it's just because it's dark when I wake up now. This whole time change is kicking my butt.

  • We are all doing pretty well with it.

I'm just amazed that I only had to get up twice last night to pee. Which means I had two stretches of 4hours of sleep at a time. That is a miracle for me!

  • No, I love it. We slept until almost 10 today. Bella just got up at 10:50. Now, we won't usually sleep THAT late (we're sick) but we'll sleep until 9 or 9:30, and that's awesome to me.
  • I hope the time change is what is wrong with me!  I have no energy this week and have just been exhausted.  The kids are fine, I'm the one who can't go to bed on time or wake up on time!

Annalise would probably sleep until 8:30-9 if we didn't have to wake her up for daycare. Our problem is that work doesn't start an hour later!

  • Yes!  I cannot get to sleep before 11 pm and it's messing up my schedule.  I do like my kids sleeping in later, though!

  • I go to bed late so I know that's part of it--but yes, I think the whole family is still adjusting.  I mean, seriously, it is one freakin' hour!  My body is apparently extremely programmed to the time.

My girls are also a little crabbier than normal (my oldest mostly) and would sleep late if we didn't have to wake them for daycare.  My oldest had been getting up at 6:30 prior to the time change and would sleep until past 8 if we let her.

I could do without DST--I don't need an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day.
