Can't remember when I last felt baby move..

I may just be paranoid, but I can't remember when I last felt the baby move.  Usually LO is so active so I'm very consious of the movement.  I suppose now that the baby is much bigger, the movement is less now.  How do I know if it's something to worry about?  What can I do to get LO to move?

  • Drink something cold and lay down on your side and wait. If you still don't feel anything after about 30 mins then I would call your Dr.

  • I am craving sugar like crazy.  After I eat something sweet I usually feel the baby move.  Try a cookie or a glass of OJ and lay on your side.  That seems to help get my LO moving.  Like PP said, if that doesn't work call the dr.

  • drink something sweet and lay down.. that always gets my baby going.. orange juice can usually do it but chocolate milk does too! I hope it works for you.. If nothing still call your doctor ASAP!
  • Very much what these ladies said. My last resort before calling is switching sides. It nothing then, I call.

  • I'm at work though, can't exactly lay down here!
  • I was told that to do kick counts, you lay on your side for an hour and see how long it takes to feel 10 movements.  If you don't get to 10 in an hour, have something to eat and try again for a second hour.

However, if I didn't feel anything at all during that time, I'd probably call the doc.

drink a shiitload of orange juice, or any juice you can get your hands on, wait an hour, and if you don't feel anything, call the doc
