So, my big u/s is scheduled for 4/22. Woohoo! There is a slight chance that I will find out the sex on 4/8 - if the baby cooperates and the tech can squeeze me in when I go in for my bloodwork. DH and I are not talking names until we know for sure.
But....that does not mean I cannot play. Like I said, we have our boy name picked out. Its a classic, spanish name. Straight out of the history books. Arturo for his grandpa, Jose for my dad - Arturo Jose aka AJ. AJ is my idea because I think Arturo is a fancy name for a little boy. So....add that to Sophia Victoria and you get the style of names that appeal to us. Classy names with cute nicknames.
Sophie and AJ has a nice ring to it, right?
However, if this bean in my belly turns out to have a vajajay....her middle name will be Emilia have DH's grandma. Amelia...but with an E. Not Eee-meal-lia. But Eh-meal-lia. Eh Eh... Soft.
So....wanna play and give me ideas for pretty first names that would flow well with Emilia? Bedilia Emilia is not an option. ![]()
Re: Speaking of baby names.....
Not sure if Sophie's middle name for baby's first name is an option, but Victoria Emilia is pretty!
Gloria Emilia (Gigi)
Anna Emilia (Annie)
Teresa Emilia (Terri)
Amanda Emilia
Can you tell I like names that end in A?!

LMAO @ Bedilia Emilia ...my kids loved those books!
How about Sabrina or Samantha?
I was also thinking this! It does sound very pretty!
My only problem with Victoria as a first name is that I cannot stand the name, Vicki. That is the reason it did not end up as Sophia's first name even though it was my grandmother's name.
Funny...Sabrina is a name I had in my head already.

I love Victoria Emilia..
I also like:
Ana Emilia (but not sure how that would fly--well I think your mom would be happy)
Julia Emilia
Camille Emilia
They kind of sound like a mouthful but you only say it all together when your mad anyway..
I could have written this! LMAO! Elise is also a favorite of mine but I am not loving it with Emilia. I do like it spelled, "Elyse."
LMAO. Liz...my mom hates her name. Do you know that she had it legally changed to Ann when she became a citizen last year? Whenever anyone calls her Ana she reminds them.
I like Sabrina..
You know I LOVE Elyse..
Yes I know she did, thats the reason hers took so long and she couldn't vote.. LOL
I love Ana though.
LOL Victoria was the first thing that popped into my head, too!!
Alexandra Emilia
Catherine Emilia
Aida Emilia (only because that's my aunt's name LOL)
Carolina Emilia
I also love the name Victoria (but I get that you don't like Vicky as a nickname).
Anyhow,
Sabrina Emilia
Olivia Emilia (not sure about the nickname for Olivia though)
Natalie Emilia
Lillian Emilia (only because the nickname for Lillian is Lilly, which is cute)
I suck at girl names!
I love the name Anna or Ana! It was my grandmother's name and she changed it to Anne too when she became a U.S. citizen many years ago! It would have been our name for a little girl but my BIL stole it :-(
I also love Lily, Abigail, and Olivia.
Oh, I like Mel's idea of NN being Tori!
And Jen, I too love Carolina Emilia! Sounds very classic. : )

Have you considered Emilia as the first name? That is such a pretty name and not overly used. I like Emmie/Emmy/Emma as a nn.
Other names that I like ( you can see I like ethnic names):
Daniela
Vanessa
Gabriella
Estella
Carina
Francesca
Anna
Ella
Stella
Nicoletta/Nicolette
Also, Juliana/Guiliana is sooooo popular here right now that I am getting slightly sick of it, but it would sound really nice with Emilia and your last name.
My grandmother too was an Anna, but went by Anne because back then it wasn't a proud thing to be ethnic. They wanted to blend in as Americans. So funny because all the popular names today are ethnic sounding...
Ohhhh just thought of a great one:
Isabelle Emilia
