I used Dreft for a while, but now I use Tide Free. I wish I'd done that from the start because Dreft is so expensive, but I thought it was the best for Ben, but now I know better...LOL!

We switched over the the free and clear kind about a year ago. I asked my OB if we could just continue using that for the babies - and she said it was fine. We don't plan on ever using Dreft.
We are using dreft because we got it as a gift, but we plan to use All Free and Clear...you don't have to use Dreft at all.
After a loss at 13wks and years dealing with IF and failed treatments (3 failed IUI and 1 failed IVF), we have been blessed with DS (surprise BFP) and now his little sister (2nd round of clomid and TI) on her way.

Never used baby detergent. Just used free and clear stuff. But, only because that is what we used before because I have sensitive skin.
If I was not using a free and clear, I would be using whatever soap I was using for my clothes.
My Blog
I've always used plain old regular Tide, and had no issues.
I never washed her clothes separate from ours, so everything goes in with the Tide.
