I am expecting in July and am in the process of looking for a pediatrician now. I would like to find one in Reston, since I would like to have immediate/close access to the pediatrician in case of an emergency.
Can anyone provide a good recommendation for a Reston-based pediatrician? At this point, I'm not even sure what the right questions are to ask for in a pediatrician.
Re: Looking for a Reston-based pediatrician
Reston Town Center Peds is really popular. They do monthy orientation to the practice for expecting parents. Check out their website, www.rtcpeds.com

We love RTC Peds! We've been going there since DS was born and will be taking DD there, too.
My BFF takes her DS to Reston Pediatrics and she always has good things to say about them.
I third Reston Town center peds..although I'm not a fan of Dr. Dipaola or Dr. Ascrizzi. Both of those doctors laughed off my son's failure to grow (dropped from 75% in both height and weight to below the 5th%). Dr. Scott and Dr. Susco both took it really seriously and wouldn't take a 'well he is just skinny' for an answer. I'm thankful for them! Overall I love the practice. Always able to get same day appointments if available and they have a sick clinic three days a week in the morning.
I wonder if I have ever seen any nestie RTC Peds moms in the office!
You aren't the first person so say that.
Love RTC peds. I actually went there when I was a little.
Dr. DiPaola is...different. I like Dr. Ascrizzi though. I just avoid making appointments with Dr. DiPaola unless there are no other options. Luckily since there are so many Dr's there it hasn't been a problem.
