    I would tell you don?t worry, it gets better, but it doesn?t. Colace kinda helped at first then my body just laughed. The only thing that really works for me is two Colaces at night followed by a cup of coffee the next day. I?m actually on a streak right now lol I?ve been able to go everyday the last 5 days and normally I go 5 days without one.

    Sorry girl, but like you said, it will be worth it in the end : )

    Boo for constipation but Yay for a great reason for it! Mine got really bad the last month or so. I have started sprinkling bran on all of my food and eating fiber cereals.

    I am that cat. LOL

    I thought this pregnancy would have a different effect on me -- I was able to go every day for the past few days (with a sour stomach) but now nothing. I'll have to try some of that colace.

    It is an uncomfortable but welcome sign isn't it?

    FWIW, my OB prescribed a PNV with stool softeners in it, that seems to be helping so far.

    BFP #1- 1/16/09- Baby Ava stillborn at 32 weeks, possible cord accident, 7/30/09
    BFP #2- 1/5/10- Baby Jack born at 37w2d, 6lbs 13 oz, 8/24/10
    BFP #3- 7/30/11- Baby Boy Due April 3, 2012

    DH has asked me a couple of times to talk to the RE about a PNV with stool softener. I just need to remember to ask!!

    I totally hear you on that one... I only started to have constipation from about 19 weeks or so and since then it is horrible...

    My PNV has stool softner and it does help!

    I also get some fiber bars at Trader Joes that look like a fruit roll up. Yummy and effective!

    I was going to say this same thing. Except that mine is the biggest pill I have ever taken.  Seriously, its ginormous.

    I drink a ton of liquids during the day to the point I am in the bathroom every 15-20 minutes peeing. Hey, it helps!
