Holy Crap! 16 ounces!

As some of you may recall I'm a freaking dairy cow. I'm so amazed by this that I just had to share...I just pumped 16 ounces!!!! That's a full pound of milk! I remember when I used to be impressed with pumping 8 ounces total and now I'm getting that from each boob! MOO! (DH calls me Bessie! Wink )

    Wow. I'm jealous. I used to pump for an hour and be super excited if I got 3 oz total.

    WOO HOO!! I get that every morning.. its pretty awesome to make that much milk isnt it?! Are you going to save extra milk so you can stop pumping early or are you going to keep donating?

    I'm EBFing with this baby but with my last baby I also used to pump 16 oz. It's crazy isn't it??

    BFP #1: 6/25/09 EDD 2/13/10 @ 6 weeks- Saw HB @ 9 weeks - DS born 2/11/10 (39w5d)
    BFP #2: 2/20/13 EDD 11/4/13 - Saw HB 3/19/13 (7w2d) - MMC discovered 4/13/13 (10w5d) - Est. loss @ 9w3d - D&C 4/14/13
    BFP #3: 12/19/13 (4 w1d) EDD 8/27/14 - 1/1/14 discovered it was ectopic/ tube had burst/ had surgery to remove tube (@ 6 weeks)
    BFP #4: 9/10/14 (3w6d) EDD 5/21/15 - natural MC 9/23/14 @ 5w5d
    BFP #5: 11/23/14 (3w3d) EDD 8/4/15 - Please be our Rainbow!

    I'm going to keep donating it.  The mom that I'm giving my freezer stash to is coming to pick it up this weekend.  I hope to have at least 900 ounces frozen for her by then and hopefully I'll be able to continue to donate to her.  The thought of thawing and heating the milk every time DS is hungry is too high maintenance to me so I'll just keep pumping fresh milk for him hopefully until he's at least a year old.

    Wow! I'm super jealous! I was EP'ing then stressed killed my supply and now I am only getting 1oz total every 3 hours. Your amazing "Bessie" Wink

    I'm so jealous!! ?I just pumped for 10 mins on 1 side and got 2 oz and thought that was pretty good...I guess I have a long way to go..lol! ?I hardly ever pump though, so I guess my body would have no reason to make that much milk. ?How were you not in major pain with that much milk in there???

    Sorry ladies, I really don't have any tricks.  I do drink a lot of water but that's about it.  I've been able to space out my pumpings to every 6-7 hours and I usually get 12-16 ounces each time.
