Just Between Friends Consignment Event

Hi, fellow Wisconsinites!

I just found out about a huge consignment event going on in Appleton and Green Bay.  I guess they also happen in Madison, Germantown, and Milwaukee.  It's called "Just Between Friends" and it's all maternity, baby, and children's stuff!

Has anyone ever gone to one of these?  I'm curious how the prices compare to rummage sale prices, since I'm hoping to hit up a lot of rummage sales this summer before my first baby is born in August.  I'm planning on going to the Appleton sale :)

    It's a big difference in prices.  At rummages you spend anywhere from $1-2 on a set of storebrand footie pj's, they ask anywhere from $3-8.  The reason that it is so over priced there is cause they only get 70% of what they sell. So the seller up the prices so they make a profit.  I will have to say that it is very well organized and you can find great items there.  And if you are looking for namebrand item for far less than stores this is the place for you. But I am not going to buy a board board for $2 when I can find it at a rummage for $0.10. I have to say it is a nice set-up though.  But if you are looking for deals I would stay with rummage sales they are great if you are picky about what you are looking for.  GL

    New to the board but they are having one next weekend in Neenah as well, not sure if its through the same place.  Just good consignment sale neenah and it should pop up:)

    I'd have to agree with the pp about the prices....you will most definitely find better prices at a rummage sale. That being said, the JBF sale is very organized and there's a lot of stuff in one place, so you can get a lot of what you need there vs. going to numerous rummage sales to find everything you need.

    The JBF sale also has a "half price" sale the last day, so anything marked without a star on it, is half price....I usually wait to buy any clothes until this day. Baby gear goes the quickest, so if you need that, go on the first day. As a first time mom you can sign up online to shop the presale.
