OMG, that is so awesome! I've been out of it for a few days and am now catching up on posts...how are you feeling - tired, bloated? I'm so excited for you and your DH!!!!!

Doris - I'm feeling great! LOL I had some tiny cramping this AM, but nothing to call the doctor about. I've had some hot flashes yesterday and today, and night sweats, but again, nothing alarming. No tiredness, even though an afternoon nap is always welcomed. : ) And the bloating has subsided already. I've actually lost weight in all this mess! Seriously, some actually gain up to 10 lbs and I lost about 6. Not sure if this is a good thing, but just a sign that I'm feeling good.

That is SUPER cool!!!!! Its so amazing how babies are formed from a bunch of cells. Coolest and most amazing process ever. Definitely always makes me wonder how people can doubt there is a God - but that is definitely just my opinion. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!

By the way.....we had Garbanzos with our steak and rice last night! Out of a can, though. LOL. You will so have to let me know how they come out in the crockpot and share that recipe!

Mel - I couldn't agree with you more! This whole process has been amazing, and I know it couldn't have happened w/out the Man upstairs. : )

And as for the garbanzos, I've made them before, and they are phenomenol! I posted it on the original thread Leanna started w/ the Crockpots.

I soak them in water overnight. Cook the bean alone in crockpot on low for 8 hrs. Then make the sofrito, add the beans to a pot. Mix in sofrito, chorizo, ham, and potatoes. Viola, garbanzos! : )
