Good Morning Ladies!
I just realized that the bump has local boards, which might make me sound pretty stupid since Ive been using the nest/bump since '06 but I just dont pay attention to things hehe.
Anyways, Im Jaimie DH is Chris. We live in the Albany area, and have two daughters. Dakota is 3 and Kallyn is almost 3 mths.
My question is for those who live around Albany does anyone know of a good home daycare. Our sitter situation is a shady one, she is in the middle of a divorce and she is 8 mths pregnant. So I am trying to find alternate care so we dont get stuck in a situation Im not happy about.
Im really looking for part time care only 3 days (at most) a week. Any help is appreciated. TIA!
Re: An intro and a question
Welcome! Sorry things aren't going so well with daycare. Which part of the area are you in? My guy is in a center, so I can't help you directly, but you could try the state's website for children and family services. They can at least give you information on licensed daycares.
Actually, I do know someone in Green Island, but she's recently had a baby, so I'm not sure if she's seeing kids again yet, or if she has any space. If you're interested, PM me, and I'll find out for you.
Ah yes I hadnt even thought of looking at the OFCS website thats a good idea.
We are in Glenmont, but we both work in the city of Albany. Im willing to go anywhere around both areas. Ravena, Delmar, Guilderland, Voorheesville, East Greenbush. Location to home/work isnt as important to me as quality of care.
