We figured out over the weekend that if DH rocks Will to sleep, he sleeps MUCH better. Go figure...so we've started doing that instead of me nursing him to sleep. DH gives him a bottle of milk, rocks him and sings to him until he falls asleep.
He's on to us now, and he's none too happy about it either
He started bawling in the bath tub tonight (the first part of our bedtime routine) and he clung to me with all his might when I tried to pass him off to DH. He's in there crying off and on now and I just hate it! I do not like listening to my baby cry and I just want to go comfort him.
At least I know he's safe and loved with DH in there...not that it makes it any easier, though!
Re: I wanna cry :(
He's finally out. That's hard on all of us! Hopefully he'll get used to it though - change is hard
kiarox - I hope it works for you guys. *knocks on wood* He's been sleeping from 7-5 when Greg puts him down. I'm sure he won't tonight since I just said that, but it's been HEAVEN.
7-5? Wow. I cannot fathom that amount of sleep. That's awesome!
I actually went in the and rescued him. I got her to go to sleep without resorting to the boob, but she woke up as soon as I set her down. ::shakes fist in the air:: I just sent him in there for round 2. It seems to be going somewhat better.
(read it. you know you want to.)
