Infertility

ER tomorrow!

I am so nervous about the whole process, and the pain.

I can't believe after all the shots and tests the ER has me so freaked out!

In the end of course it will be worth it! I think its just the antcipation that is making me so nervous.

Besides a heating pad and gatorade...what else should i have handy for when I get back tomorrow am?

Re: ER tomorrow!

  • Extra Strength Tylenol in case you need it for the pain because you're not allowed to take much else (my clinic said nothing but Tylenol brand).

The heating pad is a good idea, they gave me one in recovery and it helped a lot (or was that the morphine?).

Try not to get too freaked out and good luck!!!

  • Just wanted to wish you lots of good luck!! Just try not to think about what is about to happen, instead think of the end goal-why your doing it!! You will be great!! :)
  • Good luck tomorrow!!!

I had mine yesterday, and it really wasn't that bad at all. I was crampy afterward, but decided not to take anything... the heating pad was my best friend yesterday, and I'm feeling fine today.

Sending thoughts, prayers, and PPVs that all goes well.

  • Good luck tomorrow!! Mine was really easy (it's great to be knocked out :)), and I had very minimal cramping for a couple days afterwards (AF is way worse). You'll do great!

  • Good Luck!  I had mine this past Friday, and the worst part was inserting the IV needle.  Even that was pretty easy this time.  The nurse got it on the first try.  The cramping for me was mild (less than AF)

I wish you all the best and an easy time.
