I'm really not too fond of the IL's (vent)

So.. I don't really like my FI's family, but I will tolerate them (in small doses) because DD is part of their family too.. They are just super loud, obnoxious and (to me) realllllly annoying!! Anyways, DD is in this stage where when it gets too loud or too much is going on she gets cranky, so taking her over there is a JOKE! As soon as we walk through the door, they swarm over her carseat and are all up in her face and shout at her, she gets pissed and they wonder why.. Ughh!! Not to mention their house is NASTY, never clean and dog hair EVERYWHERE!!

So the other day, my FI took DD to Ikea and met up with his sister (I stayed home.) I guess DD was fast asleep and SIL goes up to her, PULLS her binky out of her mouth and wakes her up!! WTF!!!! I was pissed when he told me that.. She said she wanted to give her a kiss.. Umm yeah 1.) Don't kiss my kid on the mouth and 2.) WTF are you stupid? Don't wake a sleeping baby dumba$$

Thanks, I just needed to tell that to SOMEONE!! lol

    Ugh, I'd be pissed too!  What did your FI do about that?

    He was pissed too, he said he left a lot sooner than he had planned after that little incident.

    I was lurking and I read your post...

    I would be SO ANGRY if anyone besides DH or myself tried to kiss DS on the mouth. Or woke him up when he was sleeping just to give him a kiss, for that matter.

    What is it with ILs and being in kids faces? This happens with us too and it bugs me. Especially when DS is cranky or if I am trying to change him. I mean, if you want to be in his face then you change his dirty diaper...if not, let me do it!
