How do I send a private message?

Do I have to be friends with someone first? Sorry for the stupid question.

While I'm at it...does anyone know why I can't upload wedding pics to this site?  Is it because they are too big.  i can upload them onto facebook but it won't do  it here.  I'm confused :(

    Go to a post they did or posted in and where it says reply there is also a button that says contact. When you click on it, it will say send PM.

    Pics have to be uploaded to something like tinypic and then it generates a code and you copy and paste.
