maybe everyone but me knew this, but...

Lu scribbled all over our light wood flooring. i happened to discover this rainbow while DH was on the phone with MIL. She suggested olive oil and it totally worked! scribbles are gone and the floor is extra shiny

If they're washable crayons a baby wipe will do the trick as well.
