Recommendations for Hospitals in NYC

Can anyone reco a good hospital in NYC with a good labor and delivery department?  I live on the UWS and would like something close and convenient, but also with a good reputation.

    I did some research on hospitals and even had my DR suggest some; the hospital that continuously came up was St. Lukes Roosevelt on 58th and 10th avenue. Go to their website and look at their birthing facility or give them a call for a tour.

    I delivered at Mt. Sinai two years ago and will deliver there again in the Fall. I really liked the nurses I had and I felt "safe" there if anything went wrong since they have a great NICU facility.

    St. Luke's or New York Presybeterian  - love love love! I wish I lived closer to deliver at NYP - I had my IVF there. Good luck on your search!
