Payton has Strep :(

The bad news: to Ped thinks that Ryan will most likely catch it as it is so very contageous.  Adults are only 50% likely to get it.  I took the kids to my parents' house on Saturday so I could attend the shower - I just hope my parents don't get it as they're going on vacation this weekend!!

The good news: she'll start antibiotics tonight and should feel better in the morning.  I'll keep her home from daycare tomorrow but she should be better by Wednesday.

My poor baby girl. :(

    Aw, poor girl!!  That's no fun :(  I'll think good thoughts that Ryan doesn't get it!!

    Poor baby! Strep super sucks, especially for little ones. I'm glad she'll be on antibiotics right away. Strep is going around right now! Hope both the babies don't get it!

    Oh I'm so sorry, strep sucks!  My oldest brother has it right now and we're hoping his 4 and 7 year old don't pick it up. 

    I hope the antibiotics work fast!

    Aaaack poor Payton!!  I hope she feels better soon!  Strep sucks!!

    I had strep EVERY SINGLE YEAR growing up and it was awful!!!  My mom used to make us just get the shot because it was faster.  They give it in the butt and it hurts sooo bad!!  I could barely sit for days after!  When I got older the nurse said that's the one shot she hates giving because the needle has to be so big.  Ugggg awful strep memories.

    Thanks girls.  With the first dosage behind us, and half a frozen pedialyte pop eaten, she's already a little more perky. 

    Ash - can't believe you had to get it in da butt so young!!  Doh!

    Poor P!  DH got strep twice last year and neither Evie nor I caught it.  I hope Ryan and the rest of the family stays healthy!
