Robeez vs Target Brand

Anyone see a huge difference in the quality? I really like these shoes for my LO (I have the target brand) but would totally get the more expensive ones if they were a whole lot better.

 TIA

Re: Robeez vs Target Brand

  • I think the Target quality is good but they didn't fit DD the same. Almost like they were shorter and wider. IMO I don't like them but I am obsessed with Robeez.

  • If I may butt in, why is Robeez so popular?  I guess I don't get it.  Maybe I should Google it.
  • LO has a pair of each, and I prefer the Robeez by far.  To me, they are clearly better quality.  We've had both for about the same amount of time, and we're starting to have problems with the Target ones falling off her heels.  I know the Robeez are more expensive, but I think it's worth the extra cost.

They seem very comfortable for LO, keep socks on, and I feel like they are non-slip for when she pulls and and "walks" around. Plus they are really cute! I don't like the hard soled shoes, she trips on them.

  • I super puffy heart Robeez!! I've never tried the Target brand though as I do not live near a Target.
  • P.S.

I just saw that babygap.com has some Robeez clearanced out for super cheap!

  • I have a pair of the Target brand and just tried the first pair of Robeez on Owen last week and saw a HUGE difference. The Robeez seemed to fit his foot so much better.

FYI, they are on sale right now on minisocial today. I bought a cute pair on there this morning. I don't know if you have to use an invite to join, but here is one from my account if you need it.

  • Our Target Brand...well, actually Babies R Us brand, but they are the same I think...is already wearing out after just about a month. The elastic is stretched and they are having a harder time staying on, but they still do for the most part. They wear them everyday at day care though. If they didn't wear them all the time, they'd be totally fine.

Thanks! To OP We have only tried the Target brand on DD but they are still too big on her. She still wears newborn or size 1 shoes. So I always have a hard time shoe shopping for her. Going to check out the Robeez & see if they have size 1
  • Robeez are worth the money.  I wasted some $$ on cheaper shoes for DS, and finally went for the Robeez, which are 1000% better.

If you don't want to pay full price for Robeez, I see them on eBay all.the.time.  Sometimes a pair in excellent used condition goes for $10ish.

You can go to Robeez.com to print off a sizing chart to see what size LO would be if you want to order Robeez online or on eBay.  The chart is accurate, no need to size up or anything.

Ditto this. DD wears a lot of robeez because they are the only things I can keep on her feet. I get all of hers on ebay... some of them are used but look brand new.

  • I had both for my 1st and target fades, gets worn looking and over all just isn't good quality.  I would go with Robeez.  I have his old Robeez and my 2nd is wearing them.  Not the others.
