Success after IF

My bum still hurts from PIO

and it is still itchy!  I stopped it 10 weeks ago!

And, now I am starting a new progesterone injection (IM just like PIO) that apparently holds of PTL.  At least it is just weekly but man, my butt can't win!

Re: My bum still hurts from PIO

  • Mine did that and I did ask the doc about it.  He told me it would pass at some point and it did, but it was quite a long time.

  • Oh geez!  This doesn't give me much hope for my poor bum.  Sorry you have to start up again.

  • I am still taking it, and my assssss hurts when I walk... I thought it was from all of my bootay!!
  • My butt was sore for forever! Even after dd was born if I hit my butt on something the right way I can feel it (no pain but I can feel it for sure). I have not noticed it in a long time now.

Maybe the week break will between stickings will help give your butt a rest! As you well know it will all be worth it!

  • Ugh, gotta love that PIO.  I think I have permanent nerve damage from it.

I hope your new shots don't cause too much pain.  :(

  • You totally read my mind!  I was going to post about this too.  It is SO weird to have sporadic twinges all of these weeks later.  I'm sorry you're experiencing it too, but there is comfort in knowing I'm not alone.
  • I just started going back to the gym and last week and I was walking and slow jogging and ohh my my tush hurts.

I don't think my tush will ever recover..:(

  • I had the same problem with my first cycle.  With this second one it doesn't hurt as bad for some reason.  The first cycle I swear my a** hurt for 4 months after we stopped the shots.  Then, as the feeling started to return to my cheeks, I would get these painful twinges.  The whole thing really sucked.  Sorry yours is still hurting, hopefully it'll get better soon!
  • I still have pain and sort a numbness or tingling where the shots would go in and on the sides of my thigh. It is not back to normal and I stopped at 9w4d. I wonder if it will ever be normal!
