  I will always think "Marley & Me" when I hear Marley... I voted Elsy, but I like Lauren too. Maybe wait till you meet her and see what name you feel fits best then? GL

  Marley has always struck me as a boys name and it also reminds me of "Marley and Me".

  The names will either be

  Elyse Marley, Marley Elyse, or Lauren Elyse. 

  Elyse is a combo of grandmas names (Eleanor and Alice)

  Marley bc she was conceived in Jamaica

  Lauren is just a timeless name in my opinion

  I love Marley for a girl.  If it wasn't my cat's name we would use it for sure if LO turns out to be a girl.

  DD1 born 5/24/10.

  Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

  DD2 born 5/14/13.

  Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

  Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

  Like others, the movie "Marley & Me" has now ruined the name for me.  I voted for Lauren, and really like how Keira and Lauren sound together.  BTW, we're naming out little girl Kira.
