and the lawn and trees at the house you were looking at looked like total crap because it was still cold outside, would you appreciate seeing some photos of what the lawn and trees look like in the spring and fall (say, sitting out on the kitchen table when you came to see the house?)
or would you think it was weird?
our lot is .39 acres, most is lawn but the property line is wooded (mature oaks) and it all looks so beautiful when it's green.... the view out the kitchen window is so nice! but right now it looks like garbage because everything is bare and brown....
just trying to entice buyers wdyt?
Re: NBR: if you were buying a house
Because we're fancy like that.
Could you just mount some pretty outside pictures somewhere in the house (on the kitchen counter, entry way, etc) so that buyers can see it when they look at the house?
I would want to know and I know that if it was really pretty, it would play into my decision about the house.
Definitely anything to help the buyer make an informed decision is appreciated, and anything that will let you put your home's "best foot" forward. Another thing you could do would be to put any before/after pictures into an album that the buyer could look at to see what type of work you've put into it. When we tried to sell last year, our Realtor had us do a spreadsheet that listed all the improvements we'd made and the amount we'd spent on them (we've put a LOT of work into our house).
