? on baby health and safety kit

I registered for this...would the thermometer be okay or is there one I should be looking for?

I am also planning on getting a battery powered aspirator and a safety nail clipper so I don't know if this is overkill and it is just best to get a different thermometer.

Thanks

I'd probably just ditch this and get the things you're talking about.  We had a little kit similar to this and we really haven't used anything other than the comb and brush.  Nail clippers are really tough to use when they are little.  My DH just wound up getting some little surgical scissors that he uses to trim their nails.  (Personally, I would be using a nail file for a while.)
