I spent an hour going through a huge tote of newborn-6mo. baby clothes from my SIL- she has 2 boys and is done, so whatever I don't take she is selling. I left with way more clothes than I would need even if I didn't have my own huge assortment from DS. Well, she just called me and has another huge trashbag full of newborn clothes that she is going to bring by. I think I'll end up with enough clothes that I can change him every 5 minutes for the 1st month without ever having to do laundry. Not to mention she is giving me her boppy pillow, Playtex Vent-Aire bottles, and infant carrier after her little guy grows out of it (he's 3 mo. and 20 lbs. so it will probably be before LO arrives). I feel so blessed that between all I got with DS and all she is giving me as her little guy grows out of it I don't have much left on my list of things to buy! Oh, and she hinted that they want to have a little baby shower for me- she suggested having people just buy diapers because this is what we did for her's and she is just getting ready to buy diapers for the first time!

    That's awesome!  I love free, cute hand-me downs.  My sister has a 2 year old - and has given me all of my niece's old clothes that are still in good condition, with out stains.  I love it - I have so many boxes of clothes!

    And that's great the other items she is giving you!  It will be nice to not have to buy all that stuff!

    Wow that is so cool!

    I am the oldest and so is DH so we don't really have any free stuff coming our way....

    But hopefully we get a lot from family haha

    Ill be saving everything for my little sisters to have later on.

    I wish I had a friend/family member to give me hand me downs!  Jealous!  Most of my friends are preg right now too.
