Redbox Movie Rentals

Anyone use them?  Since I was bedridden all weekend long, I sent Dh off to rent movies for me, and had seen the Redbox at our local Winn Dixie.

He says it was real easy to use, and the best part is the rentals are only $1/each!  He rented them around noon Saturday, and we had until Sunday at 9pm to return them.

I just looked at their website, and if you signup for their email updates, you get 1 free movie rental a month (they email you a code)!

Sure beats $4.99 PPV movies.  : )  Thought I'd share.

Re: Redbox Movie Rentals

  • Yeah, we love these! We cancelled our Netflix months ago once we realized we weren't using it enough to justify the cost. Now it's easy to pick up a movie at Publix when we're doing the rest of our shopping. I think I've been getting email coupons once a month or so.

  • I loooove the Red Box! I don't really use it that often anymore since my parents get every friggin movie on bootleg and then pass them down when they're done, but I agree, it's super convenient and cheap.

  • We just cancelled our blockbuster online because we would end up having a movie for two months before we returned it. We were not making the most of our monthly plan. Plus we watch most of the movies we like at the theatre.

I will check out Red Box next time we want to rent a movie. Thanks for sharing.

  • We have the Blockbuster box at our Publix.  Pretty much the same thing, and nearly unbeatable.  The only thing better is the free movies from the library, but when we don't feel like driving that far, Publix it is! :)
