So I missed the "Sizing up sperm" last night but wanted to see when else it was on next so I looked it up and it said next sunday (if anyone was wondering) but on the facts it said
"X and Y sperm are produced in almost equal numbers; girls (X) are thought to be faster, but boys (Y) live longer, so the race is wide open."
I always thought it was the opposite... has anyone heard anything about it?
Re: Thought it was the opposite...
I've always heard the opposite too. boys are faster - girls live longer.

That's interesting that it's similar to stats on adult males having a shorter life expectancy than women too.
Makes me think of that "Waiting on a Woman" country song.
This exactly. And I have been teaching Child Development for quite some time.
