DH usually has it but lately, he has been studying for Cisco certification tests so, he has spent his evening back in the office - meaning the remote is all mine!!!
It really isn't a big fight at our house though b/c who ever has the remote watches what they want and we DVR anything the other person would want to watch.
DH does, but mainly because I hate using it and he's like a wizard at fast forwarding through the commercials and stopping right when the show starts back up that we have DVR'd. I just suck at using it.
Re: NBR: Who controls the remote in your house--clicky

LOL I wanted to vote for It's complicated and Special Snowflake.
We both have our shows we are "in control of". He is slower than I with the fast forward while watching shows off the DVR. So I usually take over.
I am bossy. So.

Same here! My shows on the DVR greatly outnumber DH's so I'm usually the one watching something.
