Poll: What is the first thing that ppl say/notice about your LOs?
Mine is his eyelashes. They are so long - that is the first thing almost everyone says "Wow, look at those long eyelashes!"

With Z I would say his lashes too, they're to die for! And his fuzzy hair, I love it!
With DD it's most definitely her eyes as far as looks go, most people say they envy/adore her big brown eyes. Oh, and how petite she is. As far as personality goes we get comments on how well spoken she is for only being 2.
That's easy. With Elena I hear all about her curly hair. What beautiful curly hair, and it goes on and on.
But my pet peeve is that they don't say anything about Julia. When she was a baby it was "and oh, what a cute baby too!", but now that she's older she gets ignored. Breaks my heart for her and I feel the need to stick up for her. "Why yes, both my girls are beautiful and work very hard." Julia doesn't quite get it yet, but she will some day.

People gush over "how cute they are", but nothing specific.. Just cute... Maybe they really aren't cute and they are just trying to be nice... Urgh...
Nope, they're definitely cute.
They usually comment on her chattiness, and her blonde hair. And sometimes how short she is.
Click on the little icon above your screenname, then click "Edit My Profile." In the signature box, use the code <*img src="put the picture's URL here" width=300> (except take out the *). If the picture is vertical rather than horizontal, change with word "width" to "height." You can play around with the number to get the pic to the size you want it.
It's easier than it sounds...it's just hard to describe how to do it. I want to see a pic of that little man! I saw on FB that Stephanie had a baby! Has she brought him up yet to visit? I just love babies
The first thing is that she's beautiful or pretty. Then they'll ask how old she is, and the next comment is "oh wow...she's tall!".
For Ally, right now I'm getting the typical "your baby is so cute", and then "they're going to be best friends!".

For DD either her eyes or her height.
For DS, his smile or if they ask how old he is, his size - "OMG! What a huge baby!" Yeah, my 4mo is wearing 12mo clothes.
Everyone is always surprised by O's age. They always think he's older due to his size and vocabulary. The cable guy told me he thought he must be 4 or 5. I get the exact opposite reaction for C because she's so tiny. Everyone thinks she's a lot younger.
My brother is big and I am small so I think I just recreated my own family.
Oh my goodness, he is so cute! I don't know what your husband looks like but I definitely see a lot of you in him. Hard to believe he is 6 months!

We have a similar situation. People here LOVE Hannah. They don't say anything in particular about her appearance, but they are drawn to her. We get requests a lot from people who want to take her picture. They're also always saying hello and talking to her, and giving her toys or candy. (Yes, strangers seem to give candy here a lot.) And they pretty much ignore Sam. He definitely notices it, but he doesn't seem to take it personally though--if she gets something, he'll say, "Can I please have some candy too?" or he'll start chatting them up.
They also don't say anything about Sam's appearance, but if he talks to them or if they observe him for a while, they'll say how sweet he is, or that he's very smart.

Basically I get overall "she's so precious/adorable/insert other adjective here" comments, but some about her pretty blue eyes and blonde hair. I also get comments on her height.
But my favorite is when they comment on her good manners.
