Need bday ideas

Maren's party is going to be a morning brunch, theme is pajama party.  There will be about 8-10 "big kids" age 2-6 that I'll need to entertain.  I was going to get  a pinata, pillows for our trampoline (pillow fight), and was thinking I'd have someone here to paint all the girl's nails an toes.  What else can I do?  Any ideas for decorations?  Websites?  Party favors?  Thanks!

    No pillows in the trampoline -- that is totally asking for trouble!  Sorry --- trampolines are my one "thing" ....they scare the bejeesus out of me.  Add in objects --- DANGER!

    I think pinata is good...trampoline fun w/out pillows...good.  Toenail  painting -- FUN!

    Is it all girls?  If not, I would maybe trade out the toenail painter for a face painter?!

    Oriental trading has these cute little flower pots that are clear....and have papers that you color in that go around the clear part.  You could maybe do those with some flower seeds as the favor.  You could even have them color them at the party --- and then give them the seeds as their favor to take home.

    Of the big kids, only 2 are boys.  We have the trampoline, playground, and sandbox in the backyard.  That should keep them entertained.

    You could do a "sleepover-esque movie" type deal where you pile pillows and blankets on the floor and they watch a movie and you pass out popcorn.

    They could decorate pillowcases.  Walmart sells pillowcases for $2.50 each.  They could decorate them and then collect the candy from the pinata in the pillowcase.  :)

     Favors: you could give out those glow-in-the dark star stickers, slipper socks, a few snacks, burn a CD of fun "dance in your PJs" music.

    Seems like there's always so much going on at bday parties that organized activities/games are rarely necessary.  I would totally skip the pillows on the trampoline deal because, well, trampolines are dangerous enough as it is.  I think a pinata would be about all I'd do in the way of "games" or activities because the kids are going to be consumed with jumping on the trampoline and doing the food, cake, gifts deal.
