woke up to contractions...

Then I got up to walk around to make sure they wouldn't disappear. They stuck around so I started to time them on the fourth one. They were about 12-15 minutes apart for a good two hours after that... I got excited just feeling them. I was actually enjoying breathing through them thinking that my body was doing this amazing work.

And then they were gone.... I haven't felt one since about 7... I was expecting them to get closer together but nope, they just disappeared. :( Oh well, maybe later?

But yay for being 39 weeks today!!

    I have had this too!  Except mine come at night and disappear around 11:30.  That started during my 38th week, and here I am, 40 weeks and 5 days, and still not having any contractions that stick...so frustrating.

    Sorry, ladies. I feel your pain (or lack of pain, that is).

    I'm 40w 3d and all I have is a ton of BH. I was 2 cm. and 80 percent last Wednesday. And the head has been LOW for a month. Still - nothing.

    I'm scheduled to be induced Thursday, but I really want to go into labor on my own. It's starting to look less likely, though.

    Anyone else feel like you're stuck in the movie "Groundhog Day?" :)
