When I got my IVF meds, the only one that came in cold packaging was Follistim. The rest of the meds were not cold-packed, and in reading the outside of the boxes for storing temps I did not refrigerate. I just want to confirm you ladies agree with this:
Follistim - refrigerate
Menopour - do not refrigerate before opening
Ganirelix - do not refrigerate before opening
Novarel (HCG) - do not refrigerate before opening
Doxycycline - do not refrigerate
Steroid (can't remember which) - do not refrigerate

Re: Meds Refrigeration Question
That's right. I had the same meds and only refrigerated the Follistim.
Good luck!!
I refrigerated my Ganirelix but I am not sure if it is mandatory.
Everything else sounds right to me!
I didn't use Follitism but did use Menopur and Ganirelix. As long as those stay below 77 degrees you don't need to refridgerate them.
I used Ovidrel as a trigger and that needed refridgeration but didn't use Novarel so I can't help you there.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!

Yeah, my RN told me that they prefer you to have anything premixed in the fridge - but I am not sure if it is really necessary.
