Not that we were trying... but I have felt zero PMS and I'm on CD 27 so I bought some HPTs for the heck of it. 

I think my disappointment tells me that maybe it's time for #3 sooner rather than later.  Who knows.  We were going to aim for later because the expense of three in daycare seems so ridiculous. 

My body tells me NOW and my head says WAIT.

DH says he could go either way - not helpful!  Stick out tongue

    Remember when E was first born and you said you weren't sure that you wanted to have 3? ;) I completely know how you feel. We just got back from visiting BIL and his wife just had their second baby. He was so tiny and sweet and had the tiniest little cry and smelled sooooo new and ahhh, I want another one! We don't have daycare to worry about but I don't wish for insanity so we are going to wait until #2 and #3 will be 3 years apart. Plus, if I'm only going to do it one more time, I want to try and savor every second since I know how fast it goes by. I just have to think about how pregnancy is no fun and my love of wine to put those crazy thoughts out of my head.

    Yes and yes - please keep reminding me of this - my second pregnancy was so much worse than the first.  And you know right after I took the HPT I immediately grabbed a beer from the fridge!

    I hear ya! We aren't trying either, but I finally ovulated (I think anyway, just based on casual observations of CF) for the first time since having DD2 (she turned 1 last week) and we happened to have had sex right around that time. I was surprised at how much I was hoping I'd end up being pg! I mean DD2 still only sometimes STTN. I've been saying for months that I wasn't sure I wanted another DC at all, let alone right now. Oh, and then my "period" was really bizarre - heavier than spotting, but not much and it started and stopped a few times. I've spotted/bled at the beginnings of both of my pregnancies so I took a test - BFN. I was sad. We're still not actively trying because my head is telling me that I'll completely lose my mind if I have another. I barely have enough patience to get through most days as it is. And yet... I'd be so excited to be pregnant again! Oh, and my 2nd pg was much harder too. Are we insane??

    what you could do is just let things happen, not TTC but not avoid either and just see what happens, let nature take its course.

    personally, I think you girls who want 3+ are crazy LOL

    Sorry for the BFN.  I about keeled over when I had my BFP for Molly (we were NOT trying) but I think maybe I would have been a little disappointed if it was negative. Just think about those sleepless nights and refereeing the toy grabbing between 3 of them (already with my 2 it gets a little out of control).  I am with Sofya that 3 is just crazy though :-) so i am probably not the one turn to for encouragement on TTC #3 sooner rather than later.
