Opinions needed on my HPT pics...

OK- I need some unbiased eyes to look at these pics! BTW- it's my first time posting pics on a message board, so I apologize if they look weird or are enormous or something.

Sorry they are a little blurry; I took these pics with my iPhone. DH and I both see the line much better IRL than in these pictures. I am 8dpo (yes, I am POAS-aholic), and this was using pee that I had only been holding for about 4 hours, not FMU. I saw the line within 3 minutes, so I don't think it's an evap line. I thought the line in the inverted pic would show up much better than it does. Sad I took a CBE digital with the same urine and got a "Not Pregnant", but I know those are less sensitive. Regardless, I'm going to test with FMU tomorrow and try not to get my hopes up too much in the meantime. Anyone have a similar experience testing positive with a line test, negative with digital, then ended up being pregnant? TIA for your honest opinions.

I see a SUPER faint line in the 1st pic. Congratulations!

Take another tomorrow or the next day and I'm sure you'll see the line quite a bit better.

I also see a very faint line in the first pic. When I got my + test, it was so faint I could barely see it. I would try again with FMU and see if it shows a little more clear.

But a line is a line, congrats!

CBE digital has the same sensitivity as a FRER. Your urine was probably not strong enough with hormone. Test again in the am. But, I DO see the line on the first one, and you dont get evaps with pink dye tests. Congrats

I see it, congratulations! Use another FRER with FMU tomorrow and wait a few days to test with a digital again. FRER can detect about 12 mg HCG, and digitals detect around 50 mg.

I see a super faint line in the first picture. CBE digitial are really not realiable until 12 or so DPO, and from your siggie you are only 8. Which means you have a few days to go before that would be positive.

I would wait a few days and test again as we you are SUPER early to test.

This looks like the test I took at 8dpo. I saw a very faint line on a FRER test with urine I'd been holding for a couple of hours. The line was more pronounced the next morning with fmu.

Looks like a line to me! Congrats! It took 10 days after my period was supposed to come before I could get a positive. Keep trying! Also, stay away from blue dye tests, they will make you crazy. And...the cheap ones seem to work better than the pricey ones! I did use digitals as well and that took out the guess work.

Thanks, ladies! I do realize it is super early still. I had a miscarriage in August, so I've been wanting to test early in case I have low progesterone or something that needs to be corrected. I appreciate all the encouragement. I will definitely be testing tomorrow with FMU!!!

You are definitely pregnant! CBE digital tests don't detect hcg until you are up to about 50 MLU while FRER detect 15 or something really low like that.

That's what my first one looked like too... so congrats! I took another one 3 days later and it was a LOT darker, so maybe take another one soon just to ease your mind. YAY!

The first pregnancy test I took looked a lot like that. And I got a negative on a digital early on as well.

Definately a line there...my first test looked like that too, I waited 3 days and took a digital, and got a "pregnant" result... Congrats to you!! Guess we'll be seeing you on the November board soon!!

I got a BFP with a line test and 1 "pregnant" with digital and 1 "not pregnant"...all with same urine in evening. The next day I got all "pregnant"!! Good luck!

Thanks again, everyone! I just took a cheap Walmart Equate test (pink dye) and got another faint line. Embarrassed

I told you all that I'm a POAS-aholic!!! I'm so hesitant to get too excited because of my miscarriage. Thanks so much for the reassurance. We'll see what tomorrow morning brings!

The Day after that.

You're not a POAS-aholic until you're like me... I still want to pee and I've even had it confirmed with the doctor and had a REALLY dark line on their test.

But your test looks a lot like my first one Wink It was also taken with 4 hour held pee, not FMU. Good luck tomorrow!
