We had our visit with DD's birthmother today!

It went SO well!  It was great to see her and the rest of their family.  They came over to our house, and we all had lunch together.  Everyone took turns holding and playing with Zoe, and she was so great with them (all smiles!)

 We can't wait to see them again - we're so glad it went well. :)

    Oh you are so blessed.  I sooooo wish we have contact with K's family but we don't, they don't want it.  It makes me very sad for K.  I hope one day they come around....they were very good people and we would be SO very open to seeing them a few times a year if we had the option.  =(

    I'm glad it went well.  What did you decide on for gifts?
    TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages. Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011. VOTE on my Name List Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    We are very glad that she wanted contact with us.  They are such a great family -- we're so glad that Zoe will know them.  Maybe K's family will change their minds...you never know.  Sometimes things change over time...

    We made a CD of 5 short videos of Zoe - her giggling, her in her doorway jumper, etc.  We also gave her a framed copy of her footprint and her handprint.  I hope she likes them.  She didn't open the bag while she was here...she just said thank you.

     i'm so sorry leslie. i hope K's BM and her family will change their mind one day. ((HUGS))

    After 7 years of marriage and 5 unsuccessful IVFs, we have been granted the gift of adopting a baby boy, born 4/21/11.

    This is such great news! It must be so great to know that Zoe will grow up knowing her BM and her family. Oh and Zoe is such a beautiful little girl.
