I posted about this a while ago, but we have the same problem with our daycare provider. We have yet to figure out a tactful way to say anything. But seriously, how much perfume are they wearing when the smell rubs off on the baby's clothes and lingers for hours?
My MIL wears bubble gum smelling chapstick (Avon maybe?) and she kisses DD #2's head a lot - so then DD's head smells like bubble gum. And I hate bubble gum. But she's great, so I don't say anything. Sigh.
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
That's so funny! I was just saying to DH a few weeks ago that every time MIL watches DD, DD ends up smelling like her for hours. I don't mind the smell though, it's just a soapy/slightly perfumey fragrance. It's definitely not strong or overpowering, but it is strange that it lingers in DD's hair for so long!
On our way to 3 under 4!
