UTI after D&C?

Just wondered if anyone else felt like this after their D&C - Whenever my bladder starts getting a little full I feel an achy feeling down there.  I don't know if my uterus is just sore from the procedure (would it even be sore?) and gets irritated by my bladder, or if I have a UTI now.  I am susceptible to them, but I'm taking antibiotics, so I'd think I wouldn't get one.

Also, I'm feeling cheated that season 3 of Dexter has got so much about his pregnant GF in it.  Seriously, I netflixed it because I wanted a break from all the baby stuff!

    How long ago was your D&C?  I remember for about 2 weeks post D&C I felt like I had the start of a UTI while I urinated, but it wasn't.  You could ask your doctor to test you if you are worried about it.

     I felt this way too. It was really weird because I've never had one before.

    I did feel that way a little bit after my d&c but I'd never had a UTI (until today oddly enough) so I didn't know what to relate the feelings to. They make test strips in the feminine hygiene section that you pee on and will turn purple if you have a UTI.  But once I saw your post just now I did realize that I did have some of the same symptoms minus the burning I'm feeling now (sorry TMI) right after my d&c so it might just be a normal side effect. hope I helped a little!

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    My d&c was last friday (and a second one this past wednesday). I have had the same type of symptoms, got tested and it wasn't a uti. Not sure what it is, but it's getting better, so it must have been from the procedure.

    Like the others I've thought it has felt kind of different down there too.  The way I would describe it is kind of dry & raw feeling.  I just assume it is 'healing' from the D&C.  I have my f/u appt this Wed so I'll see what the dr says.  Does anyone know if they do an internal exam at the f/u appt?
