RP - how to dress

We have been under SO many layers up here in NY this winter, that I have forgotten what 70s feel like?  Can anyone clue me in on how best to pack for my almost 2yr old?  Will she be okay in shorts and tees...or do I need pants and layers on top?  TIA!!!

    this weather has been erratic.  So, although the weather report says 70, it can dip later in the afternoon after the rain or get much, much warmer.  I would pack a few zip up sweaters to throw over her if it gets warm and maybe a pair of jeans or two, but for the  most part, I've been dressing my daughter in pants and short sleeved tops- and hoodie if it gets really overcast or cool (oh, and it has been really windy on and off, so that still makes it feel a little cooler, even if it's 75.)

    I agree with Jenny above.  Our weather has been odd, so i haven't  really put DD in shorts yet.  Mainly leggings or pants with short sleeved tops unless its cooler then a long sleeved top.  But I always carry a light jacket / hoodie also.

    I've put the boys in shorts (heck they are always running around, and never cold) and t-shirt but always make sure to have a sweater of hoodie for them to wear if needed.
