I know it is early but I have heard it can be a good idea to just have a potty for her to see, play with and sit on to get introduced to the idea of potty training. I am in no rush but she did seem a little curious about her cousin's potty when we visited.

Wow, I hadn't even thought of getting a potty yet! Guess I should get on that...is there any difference between them? One that's considered better than others?
Dang girl! Any tips you want to share?
it helps to teach her the sign for potty because even now, potty sounds like "bah-bah" and we started with poops first. those were easy to catch because it's so obvious. also, we put her on right after waking up from night sleep or naptime and right after eating.
I think using cloth helps too because when she wets, she feels it, she just can't keep peeing in her cloth dipes and feeling dry like she can with sposies.
you can start by picking an hour (usually in the morning is good because they're in a good mood then) and just taking her to the potty every ten or fifteen minutes. when she goes, praise her and if she doesn't, it's not a big deal.
it also helps she loves elmo and so we got her elmo panties. she gets really upset when she pees on elmo - lol!
