I think I have finally decided on going with Bugaboo for my stroller selection, but I really can't decide which is better, the Bugaboo Bee, or the Chameleon. Has anyone here ever had or heard which choice is more logical, or better in general? I prefer something that can double as a car sear as well and I'm pretty sure both can be used with the purchase of a car seat adapter, but am not sure of this? plus i live in all weather conditions and wonder if either of these will be good for winter if there is a lot of snow. if anyone can help me make this decision it would be awesome, all i dream about anymore is strollers and its driving me nuts!!
Re: choosing a stroller
We got the Bee. I live in an urban area and wanted the smallest possible option to navigate through busy sidewalks, stores, outdoor markets, etc. I don't think any stroller works well in snow, but we don't really get snow here, so I don't know that for sure.
You can buy a Graco carseat adaptor to go with it.
I have a bugaboo chameleon. I like it ok but it does bug me sometimes. Have you looked at the UPPAbaby Vista? If I had to do it all over again I would get the UPPA. First of all I had the bugaboo fold. Its annoying how it does not fold in one piece (the vista does). Also...the bugaboo has no add ons for a 2nd kid (the UPPA has a rumble seat that could make it a double in the future). I am actually thinking of selling my bug to get the vista.
If it were me...and you are set on the bugaboo I would get the chameleon. There are just a lot more features. If you do get the bee...just make sure its the new one. The bee had a ton of issues that people did not like and they fixed a lot of them. I think the new one comes out sometime in April (its called the "bee plus")
If you have any more stroller questions let me know! I will admit I know way too much about them.
