No, they all do it at different ages! But I am sure your LO will really start to surprise you soon! Mine are almost 5 months adjusted and DD just started rolling this week and DS is *almost* there. Neither are even close to sitting. But I'm not worried, just enjoying my kiddos!
I don't think so. I think sitting isn't really supposed to happen until 6-7 months. DD is not rolling either and she will be 5 months very soon. No concerns from the pedi.

DS just rolled for the 1st time from back to belly today! And then when he tried again he couldn't do it. He rolled tummy to back a few times back when he was 3 months old but has never done it since then. Sitting he's actually pretty good at tripoding himself and has since around 3.5months. I was worried about his rolling but the pedi wasn't. He said that due to babies having to sleep on their backs that a lot of milestones are actually going to happen later. He said tripoding is a 6month milestone and that he expects that DS will be rolling both ways by 6 months but that it might not happen closer to 7months.
my dd started rollling at 4months but only started to sit at 7 1/2 months. i wasn't worried at all.

DS didn't start sitting until a few days after he turned 5 months, and just starting rolling over, and he'll be 6 months in a little over a week. He's still not stable enough to sit on his own all the time, only for a bit at a time. We use the boppy pillow behind him for support sometimes since he hated the Bumbo chair.
I'd say if your pedi isn't concerned, you should be okay Everyone does things at their own pace!

Nope. My DS just started rolling over this week more consistently and he's sits for a few seconds, but that's about it.
DS didn't roll or sit until 6 months and I can't get the kid to sit still now!! He is the most active kid out there!
DD rolls, but only for the last 2 weeks, and she is a belly sleeper. SHe doesn't sit up.
not at all ...
