TTC after 35

OPK story

Let me set the scene for you. I am a first grade teacher. I am currentlly testing for my O. Since I have to test with the second urine of the day, that falls at about 10:30am- my lunch time. (Yes I know it's early for lunch, but that's what my schedule is like) Anyway, I usually have about 20 minutes for lunch by the time I drop the kids at the cafeteria, heat up my lunch and use the bathroom, and eat, it is time to pick them up again. Somewhere in these 20 minutes I do my OPK. I took a cheapie one and the CBE one in case the cheapie one didn't have results that were clear enough. So I go to the bathroom in my classroom, pee in a cup and test with the cheaper one. I left the cup in the bathroom in case I needed to redo the test with the CBE. I went to eat my lunch while the test was working. Of course it was a clear negative. So I go to pick up the kids and on our way back I remember that I forgot to throw out the pee in the cup.Surprise I ran to the front of the line and ran in the room before any of them can go to the bathroom. Thank Goodnesss! Can you imagine if I would have forgotten. I could see it now, one of the kids coming out of the bathroom with my cup of pee screaming "Teacher! someone left a cup of pee in the bathroom!!!!" Embarrassed   It's kind of funny when I think about it now. I just had to share that with you ladies. These TTC experiences are PRICELESS!

Have a great weekend everyone. Smile

  • Hilarious!!   I love these stories.
  • What would have been worse is if they thought it was apple juice:)  Too far?  Sorry.  Funny story though.  Thanks for sharing.
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

"It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" - A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
  • Love it........these stories remind us not to take ourselves so seriously!
