Does anyone save their HPTs?

I know this might be a strange question... but here's my story. When we got our first BFP last year, I saved the HPT. And now that I lost the baby, it's one of only a few reminders s/he existed. Fast forward a few months and this time around, I have several positive HPTs that I haven't thrown away. I feel bad throwing them away, but I feel weird keeping them. What did you do - toss or keep?

I wish I had the HPT's from my first two pg., but because they were all done on the digital ones, the "pregnant" disappeared. I'm not really sure why I didn't use one where the line would have stayed...

So to answer your question, I would keep!

Ditto. I wrote the dates on the sticks, too, so I knew the day we got the BFP.

Yes!

My Fiance has one from last spring in his memory box.

And this time around, we have saved two of them. And wrote the date on them. It's such a special time, there is nothing wrong with keeping them!

Same. After 2 weeks they began to yellow and one faded so I threw them away.

Probably butting in where I do not belong, but I saved all my HPTs from my pregnancies. I have a ziploc bag of them from both DSs. Embarrassed

Thanks everyone for your input!! I thought about dating them, and putting 1 from each pg in a baggie is a good idea. And maybe I'll take a picture first just in case. Thanks again!!! Smile

From my current pg, I only had digitals anyway, so saving the blank stick wouldn't have really been worth it anyway.

I've kept the "line" tests from all four of my BFP's. I write the date of the test on it and tuck it into the baby books with u/s and belly pictures.

I threw the two I took with DS out. :-( I think I'll be keeping this one for the keepsake box though.

I had every. single. one. (from first 3 pgs) until about 3 months ago when I determined I really didn't have a reason or a place to keep them anymore. There were probably 10 tests...lol. I still have the one from this baby and the CP, though. I'll probably get rid of the CP ones, but not sure how long I'll hold on to the one for this pg.

I didn't keep mine last time but I'm keeping the cheapy internet ones this time. Actually, tonight I lined them all up and stuck them to a page with spray glue. I took a bunch of pictures as well. Not sure whether I'll keep the actual tests or go with the pictures.

I didn't save mine from the last pregnancy but I did take pictures of it. This time I saved it and actually taped it in my pregnancy journal. Go ahead and judge me.

I didn't keep the one from DS, but I did keep this one. I guess b/c I had a m/c it made me want to keep it.

I saved all 7 of them. The darkest FRER I had is still in my medicine cabinet, I look at it every day.

I do still have my two from this pg.

I did have them saved from my two m/c?s but one night in a drunken heartbroken rage I threw them out with ultrasound pics, maternity clothes and pregnancy books. I think it helped me move on honestly and not hang on to painful reminders.

I saved them all. From my loss and this pregnancy. The 2 from my loss I keep in a keepsakes box with the first ultrasound picture and some cards we got in the mail from family and friends (some congratulations and then some I'm sorry for your loss). However, one is a digital and nothing shows up on that one anymore.

I had nearly 20 tests from this pregnancy that I would stare at whenever I would get worried, just to remind myself that the lines were darker and all was well.

I FINALLY threw them out yesterday
