I'll start by saying I can't crochet. I spent a month trying to teach myself to get past the first step after a chain stitch and then got bored and gave up.
So DH sees my "Crocheting for Dummies" book lying around along with my crochet hook and ball of yarn two nights ago. He starts reading the book and putting together his first stitches. I just got a text from him with a picture of the start of a blanket for LO, telling me he needs more yarn because he's out.
Seriously? He mastered the stiches he needs to make a blanket in TWO DAYS. I love that man. I'm terribly jealous but am amazed at how quick he is able to learn things. Now we have to go buy more yarn so he can finish the blanket.

Now Soyager, manly men can knit, and what man doesn't want to watch at least portions of Project Runway? You have fashion and models - a little bit for everyone!
No showtunes, he sings Alice in Chains. I think we're safe... for now. He does seem to always have an opinion on decorating though!
