Had a doc appt yesterday...

in 3rd Trimester

and he said if the baby hasnt shown up by Tuesday, he would schedule an induction. I am 2 cm, have been for 2 weeks, and 50% effaced. Knowing that within the next week our Tator Tot will be here has me really nervous all of a sudden, I guess because I know hes arriving within the next week. Anyone else being induced, and suddenly got nervous? Cant believe Tator Tots almost here!!

    Aw...good luck!  i was induced with my first and was happy to get an induction date until I got home and realized it was actually happening.  I also had the worst butterflies on the way to the hospital but calmed down once I got there.

    I love the NN - we call our dd Kater Tater and sometimes that morphs into Tater Tot.

    That's great that you have an end in sight. Can I ask why your dr. is willing to induce you before your due date? With my ds I had to wait until I was 41.5 weeks and with this one the dr won't induce until I am 5 days late...

    He said that within a week of his patients due dates he gives them a choice. He said he gets a lot of patients that come in begging for their little one to arrive, so he lets all patients decide. He also said not all doctors do that.
