Seriously, I can ss it in my hands and feel it in my feet. My weight flucuates up to 5-8 lbs in one day! My doc said that I am holding onto water like it is going out of style!
I just started swelling within the last week and it sucks. I guess I had thought/hoped I somehow managed to avoid it. I tried jamming my feet into some shoes this morning that I definitely should NOT have worn, and now my feet hurt like a ***. Sigh.
Me too! My feet look absolutely ridiculous. I asked my doctor about it and she says it's normal. I think they look horrible but she said she has seen bad pregnancy swelling, and mine aren't bad. I don't want to see what she considers bad! lol. I am wearing strictly flip flops these days except for when I go for walks, then I have to lace my sneakers up very loosely.
For now I'm only noticing swelling first thing in the morning or if it's hot outside and I'm out for a while. It's not fun. Not looking forward to it becoming more frequent over these last weeks.
I've had swelling since week 19...it sucks. My feet and ankles look like sausages regardless of low sodium intake, keeping my feet up at work, drinking lots of water. I've only been weighed at my appointments, but I wonder how much of my weight gain is actual water retention. I still have 10'ish weeks left of this...sigh.
Mine are really bad and I have been trying to avoid salt. Heading to the doctor's to get my blood pressure checked and then straight home to put my feet up. At my work, the way the desks are set up, it is impossible to put your feet up
Re: I am swelling like a pig - anyone else?
