daycare/pediatrician recs for Ellicott City

hi all - my husband and I are moving to Ellicott City - any recommendations for daycare and a pediatrician in the Ellicott City/Columbia area?  we're due may 31, so we're trying to do some research early. thanks!!

    I have a wonderful in home daycare the DD goes to in Ellicott City.  I know she is looking to take on one more full time child.  If you want her info PM me.

    Our DD goes to Columbia Academy @ Kings Contrivance, but they have several locations.

    I liked Childtime too, but they didn't have any openings.  I have heard good things about The Goddard School and The Young School, but I don't have any experience w/ them.

    DD sees Dr. Landrum at the Pediatric Center; they have offices in Catonsville and Ellicott City.

    DD goes to Young School in Columbia for daycare.  We also really liked Columbia Academy.

    We go to Columbia Medical Practice pediatrics and love it there.  They have 2 lactation consultants, one of whom is a nurse practitioner, so we see her for all of DD's appointments.

    @OP- We take the kids to Parnes, May, McKay and Associates in Ellicott City. We really like it there.

    I SAH with my kids but I can recommend Columbia Academy and The Young School. They are both great centers.  They both have kindergarten programs. Columbia Academy has a elementary and middle school as well if you chose to go that route instead of public school.

    @Kibs- Both CA and TYS take infants starting at 8 weeks, I believe.

    @ kibs - DD started @ Columbia Academy when she was 15 weeks old; I think they take babies as young at 6 weeks.

    Young School takes babies over 8 weeks.  DD started at 16 weeks.

    My DD sees Dr. Burke at The Pediatric Center (same practice as Dr. Landrum mentioned above) and we have loved the practice! Again, they have offices in Catonsville and Ellicott City.
