Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

My son is 18 months & a terror on 2 legs.

LOL I love the boy, BUT........

He is exhausting! The food throwing, kicking during diaper changes, waking up in the middle of the night, not eating as well as he used to, the clinginess & wanting to be w/ me all.of.the.time.........etc.

I am tired.

It's not easy being pregnant & carrying around a 30 pound baby.

  • I hear you!  Doesn't this make pregnancy the first time around seem so...luxurious?  Relaxing?  Quiet?  Hahaha.

  • We're going through the same things with DD. Did you see my response on the other board? I don't know how you feel about CIO, but it really helped DD's sleep. GL!

E's been doing the same things.   I was talking to the EI people about it the other day when they were here and they said it's 'just a stage'  however, same said people didn't tell me how long it's supposed to last...

  • I've got one, too!!!  Right now he's in the highchair throwing pieces of peanut butter toast across the room.  He has decorated his hair with the peanut butter, smeared it across his face, and as I type this, I realize he has dumped his milk on the floor.  Somehow the lid was loose.  NICE.
  • I think our DS is starting this. Personally I cant help but laugh at times when he lays on the floor and starts fake crying (no tears) because he will roll all of the living room floor stopping every once in a while to make sure I am watching. If I am then he will get louder and roll more, if I am not looking at him he tries a little longer and then stops and starts playing.

We also introduced the words "No Sir" very very early, lol. He knows what they mean and does a really good job at stopping the action he is doing.
