NOVA child-friendly hair cuts?

We used to go to Cartoon Cuts in Tysons, but I learned last time I went there that it is closed.  Can anyone recommend an alternative location?  We ended up going to the chain cheap place across from where Cartoon Cuts was, and it was a nightmare.

  • We took DS to the Cartoon Cuts at Dulles Town Center.  I'm pretty sure there's still one at Fair Oaks too.

  • We've taken DD #1 to a few random chain-type places like Hair Cuttery and some place in Potomac Mills, and had good experiences at each place.  I guess it's hit or miss and I've been lucky.

  • We take James to Annie at the Westover Barber shop in Arlington.  She does an excellent job even though James hates getting his hair cut.

  • I bring my girls to the same place I get my haircut, they do a great job. We've tried the Cartoon Cuts but my oldest has super thick hair and they just would never cut it right.
  • Eclips Kids in Ashburn is great! They have tvs at each station with lots of show selections and the stylists do a good job. We've been taking my son there for a year and have always been happy with the result.
