Pregnant after a Loss

I need help with a recipe please

We are celebrating my mom's b-day on sunday, just a small gathering becuase its such a hectic time for everyone.

We are going to this huge park and are doing a fun picnic style lunch.  Does anyone know of a good/EASY wrap recipe I could do?

I want to make up wraps tomorrow evening so they are done ahead of time and I dont have to do too much (obviously I am lazy, I will be 38 weeks!)  Does anyone have any ideas?

  • We make salad wraps..but you'd prob have to do them day of. ( we grill chicken and use romain, cucumber, red onion, a little cheddar cheese and caesar dressing)..

  • That sounds so good.... I could do them that morning and just make everything else tomorrow instead.
  • I make a super easy pasta salad.  Just cook bowtie pasta add veggies that you like and toss with wishbone Italian dressing.  Super easy and looks like you worked hard all day!  Great for a picnic.

*ha!  I do not read you were looking for a wrap recipe sorry!!!

  • You can definitley do the wraps tomorrow night. I like the La Tortilla Factory 100 calorie wraps (not only because they are super healthy and full of fiber) but because they are really big and soft so they don't tear on  you. If you use another kind, just make sure to nuke in the micro for a few seconds so they are soft and pliable. You can put anything in the wrap except for tomatoes because those will be mush by the next day, the trick is to "line" the inside of the wrap with baby spinach. Baby spinach doesn't wilt easily and will hold up over night and also will protect the wrap from getting soggy, other kinds of lettuce won't work as well as the baby spinach. Once you spread a good layer of the spinach in the wrap, you can fill it with anything - tuna, chicken or egg salad, hummus and grilled veggies, lunch meat and cheese, you name it! Just make sure the filling is on the spinach, not the wrap. Good luck and have fun!
